Traditional beehives are located at the forest of Skopelos and bees are released to collect one of the most precious products of nature, "the nectar of flowers". Beehives such as casings are made of wood.
Beehives are transferred from one area to another by a special shaped vehicle, made for this purpose and use, to vine harvest each kind of flower, placed again at the beautiful island of Skopelos. They are located to selected areas, rich to native herbs and wild flowers.
Honey is only selected when it is mellowed...
When honeycombs are stuffed with golden honey, they are abstracted and replaced by empty honeycombs, so that the work of bees can be naturally continued. Honeycombs full of honey are put and transferred to the workshop.
